Perkins 403D-11 Complete Engine (Variable Speed Power Pack)
The Perkins 403D-11 is a three-cylinder, 1.1 litre naturally aspirated diesel from the Perkins 400 Series, one of the smallest engines Perkins builds. This is the variable speed power pack, supplied new as a complete engine.
It runs a 77mm bore and 81mm stroke, a 22.8:1 compression ratio, and a 1-2-3 firing order, with indirect injection and a mechanical cassette fuel pump. It meets EU Stage IIIA and US EPA Tier 4 Interim emissions standards. The simple mechanical fuel system keeps it easy to install and maintain. Power is set to the build rating.
The 403D-11 suits compact industrial machinery such as lighting towers, compressors, small generators and materials handling equipment. As a variable speed unit it replaces the 403C-11, subject to PTO type and usage, so check the drive arrangement against your original before ordering. It is supplied new, not as a rebuild, so there is no core return to arrange.
